GRADUATE – UNDERGRADUATE CREDITS
Students can receive 3 credits for the 2-week program and 6 credits for the 4-week program; graduate or undergraduate courses/credits are available during the summer programs. Students can take courses for credit or non-credit. The fee will be the same. The number of credits will depend on the length of the program you select and the number of hours you will be in class. MLSA will help you with the selection of courses, transfer of credits, transcripts, and all academic aspects of the program.
TEXTBOOKS
Students will purchase all the textbooks the first day of class in the University. You should plan to spend approximately $25-30.

ITALIAN 315, ITALIAN COMPOSITION
Undergraduate, 3 semester hours of credit: 45 classroom contact hours. Prerequisite: Italian 204 Students should have a good knowledge of Italian grammar. The essentials of Italian grammar as applied in composition are studied. The course concentrates on writing through writing experiences and practical application and criticism. 8:30 am to 10:30 am or 11:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
ITALIAN 320, ITALIAN CONVERSATION I
Undergraduate, 3 semester hours of credit: 45 classroom contact hours. Prerequisite: Italian 204, fourth semester of college/ equivalent, or instructor approval
Intensive practice in conversation. Pattern practice, preparation, and delivery of dialogues and topical talks. Basic phonetics and practice in pronunciation. 8:30 am to 10:30 am or 11:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday
ITALIAN 430, 530 ITALIAN CULTURE AND CIVILIZATION
Undergraduate/Graduate, 3 semester hours of credit: 45 classroom contact hours. Prerequisite: Conversation and Composition or equivalent
Italian-American cultural heritage and the development of social and political institutions. Cultural heritage from Italy, including studies of different facets of Italian culture not normally available as part of regular course offerings. 8:30 am to 10:30 am or 11:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday
