HOUSING IN FRANCE
HOUSING
Participants are housed in furnished shared apartments, which are double occupancy. Single apartments are available at an additional cost. These spacious and beautiful apartments are located within commuting distance of the classroom building at Universite Lyon 2.
Host families may be available upon request. Please contact MLSA for more details.
MLSA will try to accommodate students' requests regarding housing and roommates, but requests cannot be guaranteed. If you have a specific flat-mate request, please inform us as soon as possible, and we can place you in the same apartment or nearby.
MEALS
Each apartment has a kitchen complete with a stove, refrigerator, kitchen utensils, and in most cases a microwave. Meals are not included in the program cost.
HOUSING ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Students who arrive on the scheduled arrival date within the arrival time window will be provided airport pickup.
Students who travel in France or Europe prior to the arrival date must go to their assigned apartment on the scheduled arrival date on their own. Participants must vacate the apartment on the scheduled date of departure. Please do not plan to arrive at your residence before the listed date, or stay after the listed date. No exceptions will be made.

MLSA PARTICIPANTS LIVE IN BEAUTIFUL APARTMENTS CLOSE TO CAMPUS.
As a general rule, no changes in the assigned housing are permitted once the housing has been established, approved, and confirmed. Only in some cases and special circumstances will changes be allowed. A penalty may be established for breaking the agreement—in addition to any other fees originated by a change. Changes would include: from family to apartment or by leaving housing assigned by the MLSA office. No housing arrangements will be made for participants bringing children with them.
